Ben said no to the cute little puggle. For now, anyway.
It's not so much the money, it's the responsibility, he said. We lead "intense" lives. So it's in our best interest and that of the dog's that we wait.
That said, Ben is open to a cat. I don't mind cats, but I don't love them the way I really love dogs.
I blame it on all that hair...
My old roommate and I had a short-hair domestic kitten for a short while, and she didn't shed much. But I worry that we'll adopt one that will leave hairballs all over the house.
On the small chance that we get a cat, my vote is for this short-hair domestic.
